Paul’s attempt was streamed live on social media with a variety of planned and unplanned entertainment and interactions with his supporters; telethon style. The event raised awareness and over $18,000 to help those who struggle daily with te symptoms and progression of MS. March is MS awareness month, so Paul rode his 2018 Yamaha Star Venture motorcycle without stopping or getting off while interacting and taking calls and donations live on Facebook. The more funds he raised, the more ridiculous feats he attempted! He sang and played Guitar, ate crickets, worms, scorpions and twin tarantulas for the final fundraising push. He got his hair washed, a facial, his nails painted and a straight razor shave at 90mph! It was a wild and whacky world record! Despite living with MS himself, Paul has ridden over 350K miles in the last six years raising awareness, funds and a bit of hell as he shares his inspiring story to others across the country.
This live event took place at Rob’s Dyno Service facility, 268 Coleman Street,Gardner, MA on March 29th, 2019 The intent of this event was to raise funds to bring MS education inspiration and hope to patients and their families living in rural and remote areas of the country where it is desperately needed. Paul has raised $150K for charity and all his fundraising efforts and events continue to support the MS community. All proceeds received from this event went directly to the 501c3 charity, MS Views and News Inc. and their Ride to Reach Rural America initiative.
