Longhaulpaul’s craziest World Record attempt will support people living with Multiple Sclerosis.
July 12th, 2021, Longhaulpaul will be the first rider to attempt a countrywide chopper ride in under 50 hours to raise awareness and funds for people living with Multiple Sclerosis. If successful, the ride from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean will be certified by the Iron Butt Association as the first Extreme 50CC Ride completed on a CHOPPER!
The 50CC (Coast to Coast in under 50 hours) challenge is sanctioned by the Iron Butt Association and requires following strict guidelines and paperwork documentation for certification. To complete the ride successfully does not require breaking any traffic laws. The ride is extreme, but dozens of experienced long distance riders have successfully completed the route from Jacksonville Florida to San Diego in under 50 hours, usually on motorcycles prepared for comfortable long distance travel. No rider, however, has attempted to document the IBA 50CC challenge while riding something as inappropriate as a custom chopper, until now! NUT on a BOLT will be Longhaulpaul’s fourth world record attempt with the goal to raise $50,000 for MS charity.

Picked up the 2020 Star Bolt donated to the project by Yamaha at their Headquarters in Marietta USA.
Which Paul has safely delivered……..
to Kevin Baxter at ProTwin Performance in Winder Georgia
Over the next few months, with lots of help and donated parts from partnering companies, we will be building the chopper, accessorizing it, promoting the project and of course revealing ways that YOU can help. The goal is to raise awareness and funds to benefit people living with Multiple Sclerosis. The ride will be live-streamed as much as possible, and the Yamaha Bolt will be raffled off afterwards with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity.
June 29th, 2021
After leaving Baxter’s Garage, the chopper landed in Franklin Kentucky where the bourbon flows like whiskey. With lots of help from Welding guru Jeremy Loveall, I have a sissy bar and a bigger fuel tank. I also had the pleasure of being hosted by Pat and Greg Blewett.
The maiden voyage of the chopper was a 162 mile trip to the Iron Butt Rally checkpoint in Huntsville Alabama. Great exposure for the chopper fundraiser and I found out the tank will go 100 miles before reserve. It also does the speed limit as long as I don’t hit any pot holes, cracks or expansion joints, or tar snakes, or sweeping curves, or ants in the road………..
